All of the above, and I think he blushed harder than I did, because it was the first time he’d met her and nearly the first sentence out of her mouth. 
We didn’t end up dating for long (which is probably a good thing in the end - last I checked, he’d just gotten divorced for I think the 3rd time?), but are still friends.
