So – It’s okay now to post vitriol like this, and directly call another poster a “liar” and a “goddamned liar” in IHMO? Was it always okay?
Doing some research, I just discovered: IMHO doesn’t have any sticky with forum rules like (some or all) other forums do! So this is okay in IMHO? Really? Even the Pit has rules!
Please tell me that Ellen Cherry, Gukumatz, and Idle Thoughts have simply been out of town lately or busy with final exams or something, and that they’ve just gotten a little behind in the modding.
With the recent multi-thread multi-forum shit-storm in the last week or so (you know what I’m talking about), one wonders if even the mods have a clear view of what should be modded any more.
I understand that mods will sometimes not hand out warnings if they don’t read the post in question and the post in question may not be read if it is not reported. Just saying.
With that as background, I opine that your links merited mod action. YMMV, IANAM.

ETA: Lots of other vitriol in that thread, too, even if they didn’t have outright insults like that. Don’t know how high the temperature is allowed to get before the mods get all into it.
I’ve heard they went out drinking at a pub called Biers. It caters to a certain clientele, I’m told. I don’t think we will hear from them soon.
Mind you, that is what I heard, I know nothing.
But you gotta be sure to say the word “humble” in there. If you just say its your opinion that someone is a “goddamn liar” the ban hammer starts getting twitchy fast.
