Shit, if it was based on a coin-flip— heads Hill wins, tails Trump loses— he’d find a way to land it on the edge and win the day. After all, the man who hired someone to ghostwrite The Art of the Deal and then took credit for it is no dummy.
You’re in error; you’d indeed drive through such a country.
I’ve sold off about 60% of my stock portfolio. I’ll probably sell off half of the rest before January 20. I won’t flee the country, but I probably will flee Long Island.
Why even try to time the market?
And this is how they act after their guys wins!
They were planning on being angry and snippy about how the libruls were screwing up the country. They have no plan for how to act when they have been given responsibility. They have no defense for their own party, their own positions, not even for their own votes, so they fall back into their habit of blaming libruls.
Be interesting to see if they ever stop blaming democrats for their vote and their win in the US govt. Be more interesting to see if they continue to blame them for everything they do, or if they ever actually grow up and take responsibility for their own actions.
Not a chance; the Republicans are a hate group, they’ll never stop blaming the targets of their hatred for everything.
Better yet, splain how you red staters will fare, if Cali did fall in the ocean and you guys then lose the subsidies that Cali PAYS FOR.
Somehow, I don’t think it works quite like that.
Oopsy daisy!
Didn’t I tell you not to talk to Lemur?
Regards,
Shodan
I swear, Der Trihs, you are just about the only person I know how can actually overstate the evil and perfidy of the Republican Party. But I suppose somebody has to do it, might as well be you.
What is it with you guys and the H-word anyway? Can’t a guy ever just disapprove of or disdain something?
Besides you?
Yep, besides even me.
Year end dividends mainly. Besides, it’s likely the market will continue up until the effects of the Trump economy take effect. But I want to be in cash to have more flexibility.
I’ll keep some foreign stocks.
Yes, the H-word thing is kind of a problem. But it is coming from both sides, and the H-word has become so diluted from overuse that it barely even means anything anymore. It is almost as bad as “literally”.
Where it arises, I think, is from H-crimes. There came to be a segment of the population that felt like they were being constantly accused of perpetrating or advocating H-crimes, for just being themselves. To them, getting on seemed like an exercise in eggshell-treading, so they lashed out in frustration, flinging the H-word at their persecutors. By natural reflex, the word bounced back at them, and, like some sort of birdie sailing back and forth across the net, the word took up residence in the air between both sides. It is now a pallid cliché that will not go away.
I concur with my esteemed colleague.
Good post.
Anybody want to hazard a guess what he’s talking about here?
Aren’t you the same guy who kept defending Penn State and Joe Paterno???
