Something I did find interesting, though, was that there are two other shiny new guests posting in that thread; **qualor ** and Snale. They’ve posted only in that thread, too. Now, Mr. Snale is defending Mr. tmaareif, for example initating emails and congratulating him on his posts but Mr. qualor isn’t, though both seem to have a good grasp and knowledge of the board despite being guests (like **tmaareif ** himself) and the latter has also taken to using capslock in his posts. I’ll apologise if these are genuine people are not tmaareif’s sockpuppets. It just strikes me as odd, however, that guests would choose *that * thread to begin their posting careers in. Not unbelievable, but odd. So I thought i’d see what everyone else thought.

You’re right, I have only posted in that thread, infact I only made this account to post in that thread. I was going to at first come up with some thorough debunking, but I was beaten to it by several people, so at first I started with something jovial on page one, before getting properly involved late into page two.
Use of capslock surely can’t be considered as proof i’m in cahoots with tmaareif.
I’d like to think I had a good grasp of the board, good enough to know when and where to post, or not as the case has been ever since I started reading straightdope, or looking through SDMB. Most of the time I feel i’m too ignorant to engage in certain debates, though something like this I felt was right up my street.
Apologies if I appeared to be a companion of tmaareif, but i’m surprised you came to that conclusion, i bitterly argued with him for the most part, I dunno how that could’ve been to his benefit.
