So tomorrow.....(Election Day)

I’m having my first ever Colonoscopy, oh joy!*

So what fun thing are you doing?

There must be a political joke in there somewhere.

Camping in front of the tv and wishing I had nice sedatives like certain other posters…

Working till 9pm-ish. Hopefully the race won’t be tight and I can just watch something on the DVR when I get home.

Voting probably about 11am and then chillin’ until 6PM, when I will log into the Dope and follow the results from our posters rather than get exposed to the TV pundits.

I’ll vote in the morning, then head out to Coeur d’Alene for my four month cancer check-up. After that is finished I’ll meet a friend for a visit, then come back home to watch the election returns.

Election night party with friends to watch the returns. I’m taking a bag of Cheetos for the host.

Neighbors invited me over. I’ll need to bring my kindle in order to check in here. They’re next door, so my wifi will probably reach.

Cheetos-- a nice touch!

I’m taking my walker (with a seat), in case the line to vote is long; I can’t stand very long. Tomorrow night, it’s time to park our asses in front of CNN, with pizza and other goodies.

Getting to the Dem HQ by 8am for GOTV

By the time polls close in many Eastern states, it will already be Wednesday the 9th here in Japan. And it happens to be my birthday! YAY! So I’ll be spending my birthday like I usually do… at Tokyo Disneyland for the start of the Christmas events (Yes, it’s a 7-week event here).

I’ll be following news updates of course. For the record, I sent in my overseas ballot two weeks ago.

I’d rather be having a colonoscopy to be honest (although the prep I went through last time was extremely unpleasant).

I’m in Australia, and have to work as per usual. A colonoscopy is a step up from a day at work though. Good luck with ya scope Foggy, hope it comes back full of shit and nothing else.

I actually have most of tomorrow off, so I’m getting pizza, having a Bloody Mary, reading here and hopefully, watching history made. Beyond that, I’ve always got a few real horror movies that don’t involve Trump.

I’m Vacationing in Europe. Please let me know who wins.

Already voted.

Swimming in the morning, first physical in a while in the afternoon.

I actually don’t mind the prep (I just tell myself “THIS is a WARRIOR’S DRINK!!!” and keep on chugging). As for the colonoscopy itself, after mainlining my propofol, they could have cut my head off and played a game of horse for all I knew or cared.

Good luck, may the doctors have only happy hunting - and see if you can get enough stuff to blank the whole 24 hours out.

Making Gumbo tonight. Fridge is stocked full of beer.

Cheetos - classy! It’s the season for pumpkin ale you know. I’m sure you could inflict a few other indignities if you tried…

Last night I had a dream where Tina Fey showed up at the party and was hanging all over me. Weird.

Q: Why is getting a colonoscopy like this year’s election?
A: Because no matter who wins, you’re going to take it up the ass.

Unlike the colonoscopy, you remember the election.
