Over the years there have been an enormous number of faked racist attack stories. I’m not sure if it might be more than the amount of real racist attack stories. So you need to be suspicious of all these reports when uncorroborated. (I’m curious about how the black church burning “vote Trump” one will turn out.)

Yet the constant hypocritical moralizing that the loudest liberals have been doing for years is starting to make folks like Trump look attractive to many people. And I can understand that. You know why? Because if you do the things you are supposed to do, go to work, pay taxes, take care of your family, treat people fairly and are then told that the countries problems are your fault because you are too stupid to vote for the savior of the day (Clinton this time around), and are ignorant racists and it is all your fault, well after a while it gets old.
And now, in a totally expected development, some liberals are burning shit, breaking things or throwing tantrums because those poor/stupid/violent/racists voted for Trump.

Most good things (civil rights, the end of the Vietnam War) of the last 60 years came about because people got fed up and took to the streets.
Property crimes should be prosecuted, absolutely. I’ve got no problem with that.
Let me see if I understand. Trump supporters are hypocritical because they think rioting is wrong. Meanwhile, the Clinton supporters, many of whom predicted violence from the right if Trump lost, are now resorting to violence because Clinton lost and it is a fine thing to do?

Not surprising, Trump supporters and Trump himself would have trouble accepting a Clinton win. Trump deserves credit for winning and for deviating from orthodoxy. Normally, I would appreciate a lack of convention but decorum, sensible policy, knowledge and respect are important to me. I hope Trump has the humility to get good help and listen to advice – most of his vague and shifting opinions are not policy. I do not have a problem with economic conservatism, and the people have spoken. After Brexit, one wonders if this is all it’s cracked up to be.
