There were about 200 people at the Calvert County Democrats meeting last night in Dunkirk. Probably about 8-10 times as many as they used to get, from talking with the more longtime participants.

You’re letting Rolf off too easy. That wasn’t love for Liesl; he just didn’t have the ruthless Nazi stones to shoot an unarmed Capt. von Trapp who was asking him to put down his gun. And then he so disliked being told that to his face, that he blew his whistle and summoned the Nazis who would have the stones.
The von Trapps were saved by the fact that the nuns in the abbey knew how to disable the Nazis’ cars (good thing they didn’t have diesel engines).
