I am older and as mean as ever. I had a heart attck last month but am still kickin’.
I don’t post much anymore but manage to pop up once in a while.

What is new with the Ujest’s:
I lost 55% of my hearing and now have tinitus 24/7 due to a bout with vertigo back in August 2004. ( The hearing loss is tolerable. The ringing in ear is wearisome. Medically speaking, the doctors and specialist are stumped so I have that going for me.)
My bowling average is up 5 pins.
Kids are awesome and doing great in school.
We got a cat whom the dog tolerates only because she is too old to whuparse. (The cat is presently curled up before me and the keyboard and trying to reach the keys with a paw and sleep at the same time.)
Family is in from Germany and we are having a blast with them here.
Glad to have you back and glad that things are looking up.

What’s been going on here? Not much. Oh, Hal Briston had an, er, ‘run-in’ with some sheep, and there was a coup that resulted in the SDMB now being run out of a server farm in Shenzen instead of Chicago, and Canada’s new Governor-General is a babe, and we retired the calamari in favour of something else, and the left-handed gay Pagan Esperanto-Canadian contingent of the boards ran for Parliament again, and next month I will be Officially Debt-Free, but other than that, not much…
