Jaime says something to Loras Tyrell about shoving something up a place “even Renly never found.” That, and the fact that Loras is pretty distraught after Renly’s death (again, this is just shown around the edges, so it’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention) equal Renly + Loras = luuuurrrve.
Heh. Heh. His best friend and constant companion was the KNIGHT OF FLOWERS!
Maybe they should have thrown in some scenes with him redecorating a tent or something.

Yeah, in retrospect calling a guy “Flowers” is pretty gay.
Actually, that’s not true. In the prologue of AGOT, he refers Rob and Jon as his ‘sons’.
However, when asked by Catelyn, he shuts her down with, “Jon is my blood. Let it go.” or something like that. He’s very oblique about it. That, plus everyone who knows Ned seems shocked that he would have a bastard, so I think it’s likely that Jon is the child of Rhaegar and Lyanna. Not sure how that’s going to play out, or how it’s going to come up, though Howland Reed knows the truth, so maybe through him?
Can’t remember exactly but I remember the theories seemed somewhat tenuous and not all that convincing (compared to Jon being Rhaegar/Lyanna’s son, which would be shocking if NOT true, as well as that large monk in the graveyard being the Hound).
Eh, when Dance with Dragons comes out (you know, if ever) I’ll reread them and let you know.
