The website “The Onion” has a reoccurring section where they ask topical questions and the “randomly poled people” provide humorous responses.

They rotate 5 or 6 pictures in for the fictional characters. The people in the photos look familiar. The gray haired woman looks like an actress that I just can’t place in my head.

The contemplative black man reminds me of Phil Morris who played Seinfeld character - Jackie Chiles.
The other people are not as familiar looking. Does anybody know who the actual actors/people are who posed for these pictures.

The black guy is from a PhotoDisc stock photo catalog (the original model they wanted backed out), all the others are people the original editors knew or met around Madison, WI.

In my opinion, the woman resembles Ingrid Bergman in that picture.

Feh. I can’t get behind these new, post-1998 upstarts. Where’s bowler-hat-and-shades guy? Vaguely-Jennifer-Grayish-with-perm-and-glasses girl? Kinda-like-a-young-Patrick-Dempsey-in-front-of-brick-wall dude? Who will speak for them?
