Mine is obviously a real and truthful representation. Of course.
Umm…you stoned all the time?
I think mine makes my snout look big.
I just changed mine. In the last one, of the wife and I on the Mekong River in northern Laos, we were a bit clearer, but that was taken eight years ago. This one is newer. Northern Thailand this past May.
The elephant’s name is Phanom. (Pronounced with a hard P, not an F: Pa-nohm).
I like the second one best.
And yeah, I have a profile pic. I look good in black, yes?
I didn’t know it was an option. I just added one.
I’m having my typically techno-challenged hard time resizing a multipixel photo down to the proper size. I’m using Adobe Elements if anyone has worked with that and knows how to accomplish this simple task.
Yep, added it as soon as the feature was available.
I’ve never used Elements, but I think it’s very similar to PhotoShop.
Look for the Crop tool. Once you have it selected, set the pixel width and height to “100 px” in the fields in the top info bar. Set the resolution to 72 pixels/inch. Now just use this tool to crop your image, and it’ll size it using those specs. You’ll note the marquee frame is restrained to your size setting. Once you have it adjusted right, hit RETURN.
It should now be the proper size.
Now just save it as a jpeg, with a quality setting of around 6 or 7.
You look like Russel Crowe.
Never one to be behind the curve, shoot, okay, I’m always behind the curve…have a pic up now.
I finally updated my Pic from the boat I work on to one of my Wife and I that my daughter snapped.
I did have one up the first day until today but it was the Adam Hylerand not me.
pseudotriton ruber ruber, if you want to Email the pic, I will resize it for you and send it back within a few days.
ETA: Nevermind, I see you got helped already. Cool! BTW: That is one dated picture isn’t it. I thought about using one from my 20s too.
I do, I do! (And I thought I posted to this thread a week ago. Guess I didn’t.)
Merely an observation, but I’m almost always disappointed to click on a profile and find a picture of a house or a dragon or whatever. By all means, it’s your pic, do what you want. I just usually find it more annoying than amusing. FWIW, YMMV, IMO and all that.
I have a photo of heaven as mine.
As much as I should know better, I am putting up my goofy pic.
To answer a few unasked questions:
- No, I am not bald
- No, I am not naked (in that picture)
- Yes, that IS why I Love Me and have written a book about it (Vol. I)
- No, I am NOT serious about number 3 — I Love Me, Vol. I is just a palindrome (so is my Location)
Have a nice day!
HA! Don’t I wish.
Actually, I didn’t realize I got it up there–last I saw, I got a message saying that my pic had been rejected.
Yes, that’s my college ID photo. A tad out of date.
I’ve updated mine - me without the facial hair.
Well it’s very close to pointless, as you only get to see them when you look at your profle.
But I’ve never been one to pass up the oportunity to do something pointless. So I have one.
I must be getting more ludditish as I get older. I wouldn’t even know how to upload one. You’re not missing anything but such absence.
