It’s a bit confusing. I’ve already attacked a teamate. I think I looked at the map beforehand, planned a strategy, and didn’t reformulate when it was actually my turn. Or I’m just colorblind. I’m going to change my profile from Zaphod23 to GomerPyle.

Sorry, but I’m seriously kicking it into high gear with remodeling and moving and all. I was up until 5am last night texturing a bathroom. Driving to CA this weekend for a recon trip to rent a room and storage facilities. I’m sure I would miss at least one turn. Especially in a team game, it wouldn’t be fair to a teammate. I’ll be back in the games in April sometime.

Does anyone have any objection to me inviting some Risk-ers I’ve played with before?
I signed up. Man you guys need to try the casual games. They speed up game play alot. Sequential is nice in that you know exactly how the board will be but casual is what I only play normally. I also am an escalating fan. If you are good you can get some great comebacks with escalating. It takes skill to look at the map and figure out if it is runnable.
casual games is what we’ve been playing - the other option is Speed Game. Escalating gives a player cashing in later in the game an unfair advantage, but man you can really clean up that way

I meant non-sequential free-for-all games. This does take some getting used to in playing.
At first I had the same opinion of Escalating, unfair etc. It is really a skill to manage your cards, sometimes not getting a card, forcing other turn-ins. Overextending to knock someone out for an extra card or two. It is well worth the effort to try some escalating games for fun.
