I finally had a win in a Doper game. 
If anyone is interested I’ve started a new game, 6 players, game # 2134811, I’ve used the World 2.1 map, usual password.
I’m in and congrats on your big win and making PFC! I just won a game I thought for sure I was out of - but the dice were in my favor two turns in a row
How do the 2.1 games work?
it’s simply a BIG map. he has set it on freestyle, so logging on at the right time gives an edge for this.
Whoops I didn’t even realise I’d done that. In hindsight it’s probably a good idea given the size of the map. But if everyone would rather a Sequential game on a smaller map sing out and I’ll change it. Unless someone wants to start another one on the meantime.
freestyle is fun, and it greatly speeds up the game if you have the time.
Hey, everyone. I made it to Atascadero, with all my stuff, but sans gato. We decided it would be better not to split up the boys. It wouldn’t be fair to my little Scutterbotch to leave him alone shut up in one room for so much time, so Lizard Queen took both the cats to Albuquerque. I’m living amidst boxes and chaos, but I have a place to lay my head. (and internet, even if it’s only DSL) I joined GreedySmurf’s game. Hey, I guess if you hang in long enough, even if you don’t win any, you go from recruit to cadet. A cadet is officer class, so all you privates better salute when you see me. 
The game’s started, ‘n’ stuff.
