Been looking through the internet and still can’t find out who is cast as Feyd Rautha in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune.
Lots of big names: Brolin, Bautista, Momoa, Bardem and Skarsgard are just a few. But there’s still no word on Feyd. I sort of hope Sting gets the part again. As long as they don’t try to put him back in that speedo.
Wow, this is the first I’ve heard of this. The casting actually looks brilliant, except for Momoa as Duncan Idaho - my mental image of Duncan was always a lithe, fast fighter, not a hulking giant.
And Stellan Skarsgard looks like he’d blow over in a high wind, though I’m sure they’ll be able to flesh him out to play the Baron.
I will miss hearing Jose Ferrer saying, “Bring in that floating fat man!”

Interesting. But I’ve not seen anything with Tye Sheridan so my only impression is a somewhat plain, unremarkable choice for a key player.
I agree with you on this. I could however see Momoa as Gurney Halleck. Then maybe Josh Brolin could play Duncan Idaho - I think that would work much better.
I really hope they do this one right. The 1984 version was horrible.
Well, I hope they signed Momoa on for a six-film deal…
Actually, since the current plan is to just do Dune with no plans for the later books, Jason Momoa is a good choice for Idaho. If they do decide to do sequels later, Momoa would have to up his acting game.
