So you're on a psychotic killing spree...

Stutter, by Marianas Trench.

“I know, I never make this easy,
It’s easy, for you to disappear…”

It implies a pathetic vulnerability that is wholly undeserved by the perp.

First thing I thought of was “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” Not for any lyrics, just the beat.

There’s some better choices IRL maybe, but this wins the thread.

The Benny Hill theme.

So Happy Together – The Turtles

Or you could go with “Back Stabbers” by the O’Jays. I’ve always thought that was the greatest combination of title and artist ever.

“Soundtrack to a Killing Spree” by the Dropkick Murphys

If I’m in a classical mood, Ride of the Valkyries. If I feel like rocking out, Voodoo Child.

A lot of good choices mentioned above. Tarantino seems to have a market lock on this sort of thing. I am reminded of the use of In A Gadda Da Vida in the movie Manhunter.

My original contribution will be Thomas Dolby’s “I Love You, Goodbye”

Tomorrow Wendy-- Concrete Blonde

Or
Pardon Me, I’ve got Someone to Kill-- Johnny Paycheck

Thought about Moon over Bourbon Street. Decided Werewolves of London has a better groove.

I think I’d probably like Come As You Are better for that sort of thing. But of course that would only work for a shooting spree, and as I mentioned before I like my killings more old fashioned and artisanal.

“TV Set”-The Cramps

“Killer Inside Me”-MC 900 Ft. Jesus

“Stop It”-Pylon

“Star Me Kitten”-R.E.M. (NSFW)

Carl Orff’s Musica Poetica of course.

Peter Gabriel’s San Jacinto.

I think the instruments at the beginning are supposed to be birds and wildlife chirping in the forest, but I always thought of it as the vocalist repeatedly stabbing someone delicately. When the guitar, bass and horns come in, body parts are being scattered to the four winds.

My Favorite Things

My theme song from the TV show of my life that plays in my mind. It’s Baby Elephant Walk.

Why not go with something tried and proven: Helter Skelter.

“MacArthur Park”

I prefer my stabby soundtrack to be something light and lyrical; How about Barbie Girl by Aqua or Let It Go from Frozen?

Or NIN’s Closer as used in The Hitcher remake?
