What kind do you use?
What do you recommend?
Before anyone gets smart alecky, this is not a new venture for me. I have been using Lever 2001.
I make my own. Highly recommended because you can tailor it to your specific skin type and know exactly what ingredients are in it.
Of course, it’s a little more effort than just going to the store… but imho well worth it.
I use Avon soap, the Sunrise Aromatherapy Energizing Body Bar soap to be exact.
I’ve been using it for the last 3+ years and I love it!
I also have it on good authority that it makes my skin smell nice
Ivory Soap, no muss, no fuss.
Of course, I also use a $2 bath towel, $0.99 shampoo and change my razor blades about once a month. I’m cheap, but clean!
I was inspired by MsWhatsit to make my own soap as well. My first batch didn’t turn out so hot (too harsh) so I’m attempting to rebatch it (with some additives) as shaving soap for my husband. I tried a bar from my second batch today and it’s much better. I love the way it rinses so clean! My husband is going to be a tough sell, tough. He’ll probably stick to Ivory. (Which is good, since I bought 3 12-bar packs last time they were on sale!)
Yay for you, voguevixen! I’m so happy that I actually inspired someone to make their own soap.
If you have any questions or problems, feel free to drop me a line.
Heh heh. You’ll be sorry you said that…because I will!

Here’s a timely article on the OP.
Pink Dove. It smells nice and doesn’t dry out my skin (anything stronger will). I also use it on my face in the morning; at night, I used the Oil of Olay Daily Facials.
I use Pears Transparent soap, it has a nice scent and if it’s good enough for the Queen of England it’s good enough for me…

Whatever happens to be in the shower at the time
Yes, I’ve even used the bath gel stuff with the little puff. Yes, it lathers up like a rapid chipmunk on speed. No, I still dont like it…
I like Yardley English Lavender and Yardley Oatmeal Soap, both available at my local Dollar Store. I get neato bath gels there, too.
