Simple way to take care of that! Across the toes of your socks with a magic marker write “DAD”. The kids wouldn’t be caught DEAD wearing those!
Of course if you wear black socks you’re outta luck and will prolly have to keep locking them up.

Isn’t that interesting! I have to put on the left sock, left shoe, right sock, right shoe or it drives me crazy (or crazier anyway).

FixedBack – me too – absolutely superstitious about dressing in exactly the same sequence.
I truly think that stuff we do regularly is imprinted in our brains – with me, an unexpected interruption in the morning routine has to be consciously overcome, or it just doesn’t “feel” right.
Not me! The only superstition I have regarding getting dressed is to ensure the “cheaters” are on early in the process. This ensures I put the underwear on first.
