I keep getting socket errors on one of my servers at work and I can’t figure out what could be causing them. Is there a typical culprit or a recommended troubleshooting procedure to get rid of this issue? Can it be failing hardware? Some setting somewhere?
Any ideas? If there is more info needed to help with this problem just ask because I don’t really know too much about this aspect of computers.

What are the exact error messages? When and where do they show up?
What are you doing when you receive the errors? What’s the make of the server?
