Soda Availability

(Note- This may end up being more of a personal experience question then a strictly factual question. Move it if necessary.)

My favorite soda (or pop, or whatever) is Sun-Drop Citrus Soda. I’ve been drinking it for years. The problem is, I’ve just moved to Lexington, KY from my hometown in Western KY to attend the University of Kentucky. My searches for this elixir of the gods have proved fruitless so far. Does anyone know specifically where in the Lexington-Louisville area I might find it? I have reason to believe that maps of this and similar information exist, so can someone help? Thanks in advance, from a caffeine-addicted Sun-Drop freak!

You can always order it online. How badly do you want it?

Or call them or fax them and ask them.

ditto goose :)… what else can I add, lol? I once fell in love with barq’s root beer and tried to find it in 2 liter bottles in the Charleston area. I called the retailer for the southeast who referred me to the retailer for S. Carolina who referred me to the retailer for mine and three other counties-who in the end told me that Barq’s root beer is not and would not be available in 2 liter bottles in my area or anywhere close enough to drive to. However they would record my inquiry into the matter…yeah thanks alot… “We’re not givin’ ya shit, but thanks fer callin’ bo”…
Anyway, now if I want barq’s I have to go out ot eat as they d-o deliver syrup to businesses… maybe I’ll gather some Barq’s fans together and we’ll all throw-in for a box of syrup :D… or I could just stay with Sam’s choice root beer lol… good luck Mr. Sundrop

Albertson’s Grocery stores used to advertise that they would special order anything that you couldn’t find. I used it once to get some special Amaretto cocoa mix that a friend liked.

If you have this chain near you, you should give them a call. Perhaps they still do this. There may be a minimum order, of course.

I see Sun Drop all the time up here in Ohio. However, I don’t ever see Cheerwine or Diet Cheerwine, stuff I got hooked on in Charleston, SC. I wish I knew how to get some in Ohio. They want $12 for a 24 pack on their site. I love it, but that’s a tad steep…
