Yes, which makes me immediately think the kid is full of shit. Ol’ Al has a raging woody for law enforcement and he’s proven himself able and willing to not merely bend the truth, but out-and-out lie. That, and the fact that the PD issued a statement that none of the witness testimony matches the claimed events. Now, you might think the PD is merely covering for one of their own, but I doubt they’re going to issue a press statement which will be so easily proven to be a lie when the case goes to trial and the witness statements are made public.

Something happened. Hopefully we can find out what via a trial, and whomever is guilty of a crime can be punished for it.
I think it was a Transit Cop that testified against him. If so, I am not sure what side of the blue line they would fall even though both are technically part of the NYPD.
It could be worse. Can you imagine what the reaction would have been if Guiliani was mayor. Oh, that’s right, we don’t have to imagine. He would instinctively back the cops regardless of facts, released the victims sealed records, call the victim a liar, and add City Hall’s clout to help stonewall prosecution of bad cops.
And some people wanted this for President.
Something happened? When the medical records are released in full to the public, we’ll all know what happened.
The cops’ attorneys will do a splendid job of proving that this street punk anally attacked those poor officers, and what could they do but defend themselves with their batons?? Why, it’s self-defense. Plain and simple.

If you remove anal assault from the list of viable scenarios, you really only have one scenario left.
The truth. Where a person was held down, their pants and underpants were removed, and they were sexually assaulted with a police baton.

It’s so nice to know we have people like the OP who can quickly and accurately gauge a person’s guilt based solely on the sketchy information from a couple news articles. Why, if we had more people like him we could do away with the whole expensive court system entirely!
Any police officers who commit a crime should be punished for that crime. That certainly includes assaulting a suspect.
But this doesn’t excuse the blatant bigotry of the OP. If you get mugged by a black man, you don’t get a pass on hating all black people. If a Mexican steals your car, you’re not entitled to hate all Mexicans. And if some cops assault a suspect, you can’t assign the blame to all cops.
It’s equally good to see that it doesn’t apply to message boards.

When they have a well documented history of covering for one another it is not as hard to suspend disbelief. I work with a lot of cops some good and some bad. Some I would trust to watch my newborn son some I wouldn’t trust to watch a cup of coffee. That said I doubt the OP was referring to all cops (I hope not) but just to dirty cops. At least in my head when I hear a story I think to myself “Fucking cops!” with the uneeded caveat that it only applies the dirty ones.
