Anyone know of a decent software download for simply printing checks? Not in Quicken, but a seperate, simple program to print checks.

I haven’t done it, mangeorge, but if you’re looking for something less sophisticated than Quicken, then I’d guess you’re not trying to track expenditures but rather simply want something that will let you print checks written to various payees. I’m sure you can setup a template in Excel or MS Word that’ll do that.
We have VersaCheck, and Dave gives it about a 6 out of 10. It’s cheaper than buying cheques.
Oops - forgot to mention I’m running Mac OSX. :smack:
Maybe I’l just drag the check printer out of Quicken. But that’s an awful big program to install just to print a couple checks a month.
Better, I won’t do business with anyone who demands a check.
