I have a problem with running/installing one particular software on my computer. The software consists of a diskette and CD. I tried to track down the company with its name and address that is printed on the CD and case, but they are no longer listed anywhere.
I had the software installed and running without any problems a few years ago. I’m sure it’s a software problem because I get the same result with both my computers, one with Win95 (the one it was installed in), and the other with Win98 SE. At the end of
the installation process I get this message:
“Please add <PATH> SHARE.EXE /L:500 to your AUTOEXEC.BAT” Then when I click on the icon to start the program I get this message: “RunTime Error ‘424’ object required.” And of
course the program doesn’t run. Any ideas on what I can try to do?

Does it help?
I think you should post the name of that software, some people might have had the same problem.
