Sure. But the crusade I’ll carry on is to expose you for the pathological liar you obviously are based upon what you’ve said in this post alone. To wit:

It’s one thing to accuse someone of lying. It’s another to prove it. I have a long and glorious history on this board for honesty. I’ve been called a liar many times but not one of my accusers has ever been able to prove it. And the reason is simple: I don’t lie!
On the other hand we have you, who has posted a photo of a beautiful woman in the portrait gallery who wasn’t you and who then dallied for weeks if not longer in making it right, despite being called out numerous times by a personal acquaintance of the woman whose photo you claimed was yours.
Then you’d have us believe you have a folder full of photos of other people and yourself all with the identical label “self-portrait”, and that in deciding to post your photo to the portrait gallery you opened this odd folder which surprisingly allows you to name multiple files the same thing, and blithely and mistakenly posted a photo of someone else without so much as looking at it either at the time or to see how it showed up in the gallery. Even assuming this far fetched excuse bore a scintilla of truth, why would you submit a photo this way to begin with? Doesn’t it seem the tiniest bit logical that if you know you have a folder containing many people’s self-portraits along with others of yourself, that you would check first to make sure you picked a photo of you rather than of the other women whose photos you’ve archived? You explanation of how you made this “mistake” fails to pass the smell test by quite a wide margin. A person would have to be so dumb they wouldn’t know how to type in order to submit a photo under the circumstances you describe.
b) You claim I hacked your Flicker account and used a photo posted there to make my claims of a second photo here, and that you never posted a second phony photo here.
First of all, I wouldn’t know your Flicker account if it bit me in the ass, much less how to “backhack” into it. And why would I do so and then turn around and claim you posted it here, when Arnold himself as well as any other posters who’s seen your photo once it was corrected could bust me for it immediately? And yet no one has ever stepped forward to substantiate your claim or to disprove mine. I’m sure other posters saw the photo as well. If you want to continue to claim your innocence in this regard, then perhaps I should start a Pit thread asking who else saw it. I’m sure there’ll be some. So again, prove your accusations or face exposure for being the liar you are.

Well, I happen to have a record of our PM exchange as I make a practice of keeping my PMs rather than deleting them, and yet I could find only two PM’s I sent to you and I don’t believe they could in any way be truthfully characterized as “nasty.” Quite the contrary as a matter of fact, as you admitted in your response to liking me - a liking which apparently doesn’t count for much since you’ve continued to lie about me and what I’ve said and done numerous times since. If you’d like I’ll be happy to post my two PM’s to you along with your response here in this thread and let everyone decide for themselves which of us is lying. Well, sweetie, lemme tell you something. I don’t like it when people lie about what I’ve said and done. If you’d kept your mouth shut regarding me and focused your accusations on the lone cashew alone, I’d like have said nothing as he is more than capable of dealing with your lies and duplicitous behavior himself. But instead you decided for whatever unimaginable reason to drag my name into it and accuse me of colluding with him to cast false aspersions your way.
So I’m simply defending myself and seeing to it that the record is kept straight. As a person who has high regard for the truth, I naturally have a strong aversion to being lied about. Yes! Thank Christ for reviving this thread! It was like waiting for season 3 of Game of Thrones all over again. That’s not the only parallel with the Song of Ice and Fire: Like in that series of novels/television show there is no black and white, but only grey, and all the characters are complicated. For example, Starving Artist is clearly an insane person, but I have to say that he’s managed to convince me that he’s right (about this, not about the cardboard tube, which because of his avatar I’m constantly, hilariously, reminded of whenever he posts), whatever the hell that’s worth. PlainJain is an interesting character because I’ve for a while had the feeling that I like her, but I can’t remember what initially made me think that. Then of course there’s the more obviously villainous The Lone Cashew, another insane person who reminds me of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. I could go on with character profiles.

Just out of interest, way up thread, the OP and most others totally fucked up their reading of the quoted statute. A quick glance at the Criminal Code of Canada
shows:
265(1)(a) and 265(1)(b) specify, with no reference to a weapon, what constitutes an assault. In addition 265(1)© says that accosting, impeding or begging while armed also constitutes an assault. So without the accosting, impeding or begging you are not commiting an assault.
And then you find:
- Every one who, **in committing an assault,
**
(a) carries, uses or threatens to use a weapon or an imitation thereof, or
(b) causes bodily harm to the complainant,
is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years or an offence punishable on summary conviction and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding eighteen months.
Whether the case from the other thread would qualify as assault or not is another matter.
However it would seem Solosam was not lying and perhaps not as lazy as some others.
Carries…a weapon ** in committing assault **. Merely carrying the weapon sans committing the acts which constitute assault is not by itself an assault.
Read item 4. A judge and jury will decide if merely carrying pepper spray constitutes assault. How likely is it that a woman coached by law enforcement to protect against assault in high crime areas with assault for carrying pepper spray?
