Some people collect baseball cards. Me?

I seem to be collecting non-terminal diseases.

Not sure if I wanted to start this thread, because it sounds a lot like whining. Then I decided, if it’s whining, so be it.

As of Monday, I can now add diabetes to my list that includes asthma, multiple sclerosis, and high cholestrol.

4 years ago, I was a “seemingly” healthy guy who never even took aspirin. Not I’m a walking pharmacy.

Ah well. I still work full time, can walk & can drive a car… so I’m better off than most. (I still see no purpose for this thread other than to whine. I could say it’s to let you all know what’s going on with me, but I doubt anyone here even knows me. But I’ll post it anyway. )

So, what are you getting for Christmas?

Sorry to hear about your ailments

I’m hoping that Santa brings me Bubonic Plague

I can soooo sympathize with you!

Three years ago I had an episode - they called it a brain bleed. An isolated rare thing.

While I was in the hospital, they discovered I had diabetes, high blood pressure, and hepatitis C. Damn! I am now on 5 different medications, and just completed treatment for the Hep C - which didn’t work, btw.

But like you, I am mobile, and energetic, and still kicking!

We’ll be ok.

Heh, I once joked that I only ever get terminal things. So far I’ve had:

A broken neck
Skin cancer
Tuberculosis

(To be honest that’s all hyperbole. I’ve actually had a dislocated neck, pre-cancerous moles, and dormant tuberculosis… But aside from that, never a thing!)
