I have never really seen any of SBC’s stuff (dont have cable, though I saw 10-15 min. of Borat once in a hotel, and didnt care for it at all) but that type of “humor” is uncomfortable to watch, and not funny to me in the least…
Jimmy Kimmel has a cousin Sal, who sets up these kind of hidden camera situations for Jimmy’s show, abusing unsuspecting people (often treating them like garbage) and airing the footage for “big laughs”. This is not friendly ribbing, it’s mean spirited and made only to humiliate people.
I hate violence, but if I found out that someone beat the shit out of cousin Sal (or Jimmy Kimmel for that matter) during one of these filmings, I would have to feel like it was instant karma for someone who enjoys making fun of others. If it happens, I hope they (Cohen, Kimmel, Cousin Sal) have the balls to show footage of themselves getting a beat down—If you live to dish it out, you should be man enough to take it once in a while.

Cohen doesn’t “abuse” anybody. He makes an ass of himself and gets their reactions, but he’s never mocking or hostile or abusive to them.

You accused Jimmy Kimmel of “abusing” people and “treating them like garbage” (I have no idea if this is true or not. I’ve never seen Kimmel’s show). You did this as a comparison to Cohen and said that it would be “instant karma” if “they” (including Cohen) got their asses kicked. If you were not implying that Cohen was doing the same thing as Kimmel, then what was the point of your comparsion?

I never thought SBC desserved an ass kicking. When Tom Green was on, I hoped someone would kick the crap out of him. If SBC were to talk to me, I think I would have good humor about it, but not with Tom Green… he’s a dick to people.
