Hey… Muad’Dib, not that your IMLAMF intellectual property theft thing isn’t fascinating, (it totally is!) but since I’m having an ADD interlude here, did you ever find that elusive beef, bean and cheese retail burrito you were searching for a while ago? I always wondered what became of that quest.
I honestly swear that not a week goes by that I don’t think about that… And tell myself that I will write a letter to the burrito company in Mexico tomorrow.
I hate people like that. Pathetic. You should feel flattered that your writing skills are good enough that he’d steal from someone like you.

Maybe I’m weird but whenever I see things like this, I tell the person that got stolen from. Then I sit back and watch what happens.

You should, regardless of whether anyone else has or not. LJ Abuse only acts on claims of copyright violation from the actual copyright holder or his/her authorized representative. Details are at this FAQ entry. The abuse report form will prompt you for all the relevant information.
I used to love suspending unrepentant copyright violators. They whine a lot.
(I used to do LJ Abuse until it got too stressful and time consuming. A 20 hour a week volunteer job where people hate you is just no fun, even though the coworkers are great.)
Since it’s not my copyrighted material, I can’t report it. Click on “report abuse” though it may need to be a mod or admin who actually does it. Posts are the property of the Reader, right? This person should have his rights revoked.
I reported this thread to the mods…
This kind of thing really pisses me off!

I just emailed the two people he copied from in the two entries I posted earlier. If the girl at technicolor.org is bothered about it she might point him out on her blog. And she gets a lot of visitors to her blog, I’m sure many of which are livejournal users.
