When I pee, it’s a dark brown-red color. I’ve never seen it this color before. It’s kind of scaring me. Besides being a little stiff in the groin area, nothing else hurts. I’m definitely definitely am going to go see a doctor ASAP, I just want a heads up on what could be wrong with me. Anyone know?
It could be a whole lotta things, some serious, others not, but since you have groin tenderness my guess would be kidney/ureter/bladder, probably infection. Remember, though, IANAD, I just work for a nephrologist.
You need to check with a doc. And have a urinalysis. No getting around that necessity by consulting message board experts!!! I won’t venture any guesses given the paucity of information, as I don’t want to inappropriately frighten/reassure you.

You need to see a doctor.
The differential diagnosis can include bladder infection, kidney infection, kidney stone, certain medicines, cancers, long distance running, aortic aneurysm, several kidney diseases, etc., etc.
You heard the docs.
(I could add hepatitis and kidney injury to the list.)
(Me? I’d be at the clinic already.)
I had urine that looked like Coca-Cola once (dark brown) it was caused by blood in the urine due to a kidney stone that had lodged in one of my ureters. The dark urine came about 3 days before excrutiating pain. But definitely see a doctor.
Wow. There are some bad diseases out there, but I really hope I never come down with that one.
“I’m… I’m afraid you’ve got long distance running.”
“My god! How long have I got to live?”
“I’d say 30, perhaps 40 miles.”
"Yeah, but once the doctors told Grandpa, he just went home, and sat in his chair, and didn’t move.
Lived to be 103.
Then the tornado came along…"
Did you eat or drink anything that might have dyed your urine?
Just a possibility, but get a doctor as soon as you can.
