Sometimes even I am suprised at how lazy I can be...

Half an hour ago I decided I am sick of all the MP3 on my computer and need a change in music, yet I am to lazy to go upstairs to the CD racks to find a CD to listen to on the computer.

Thus I searched for a CD in the mist of all the various junk I have down on the computer desk.

I found on single CD… sadly it was “A Country Christmas” with such singing sensations as Donna Fargo, Kitty Wells, Eddy Raven and Jeannie C Riley…

A condunrum…

Should I go up stairs and exert 30 seconds of energy to find a half-way decent CD that I will actually enjoy listening to…

should I… should I…

It isn’t really that much to ask…

Well I am currently listening to Lacy J. Dalton singing “Winter Wonderland”

Sometimes my laziness suprises even me.

I’m sorry, I think it’s too late.

Ahh laziness. Sweet laziness.

You know you can forget about all those CDs upstairs by calling up some webradio. That’ll also save your ears.

You really put the goat in the cheese.

I am not really sure what that even means.

A couple of nights ago I lying in bed watching TV. When my programme ended they were showing a local Chinese movie, which I didn’t want to watch. The remote control was on the bed but closer to my feet than it was to my hand, yet I was too lazy to reach for it and change the channel… so I watched the movie through.

^LOL.

At least I am not alone in my laziness!

I like this thread; it’s making me feel positively energetic!

A few years ago my mom, me and my little sister were watching Mr Rogers Neighborhood. My sis left the room and went upstairs to play.

Musta been 10 minutes later I say to my mom, “why are we watching this?”

She says, “I dunno, where’s the remote?”

I say “I’m not sure”, and look back at Mr McFeely delivering another message, entranced by those short steps of his.

We waited for my sister to come back and turn the channel-20 minutes later.

Well, my clock has stopped working for at least two weeks now. It’s hanging right above me. The batteries are on my bookshelf on my left. I could reach both with a stretch of a hand. Did I mention my clock has stopped working for at least two weeks?

I have replacement strings for my guitar. I broke a string on my guitar. And another one. Plus another one after that. I’m still playing a 3 stringed guitar.

Plus all the strings are all nasty and corroded. Ugh.

Ah, laziness - the vice which is its own reward.

The clock in the kitchen the one that is commonly used by the whole household has not worked for nearly 3 months. The batteries are in the drawer directly beneath it, everyone in the house knows this… the batteries in the video remote have not worked for 4 months now, everyone knows where those darn batteries are. It may well be another 3 months before someone does something about it.
We are a lazy family, but I think we are even more lazy when it comes to the area of batteries.
