Song at jazz funeral in the movie Double Jeopardy

OK, whether or not you like the movie, the scene where Ashley Judd arranges to meet her (ex?) husband in the cemetary, there’s a jazz funeral going by. There’s 2 shots of it, the first with the band playing a mournful sort of dirge, the other shot a more upbeat number.

(I saw the cemetary scenes a lot a few years back, my sister and I had a “Haunted New Orleans” themed Halloween party, and we kept replaying those scenes for decoration ideas. Ended up with some cool oven vault mausoleums and such, but I digress.)

On a recent road trip, my friend had music control, and he started playing what I thought to be the first song played by the jazz band. It was actually Minnie the Moocher, but I had him start it over again, and it really sounded like that song. Of course, the song at the funeral was a lot slower and, well, dirge-like, but it could be this song slowed down.

I don’t own the movie, though, to confirm this, and couldn’t find any clips of it. Can anyone confirm or deny this? If I’m wrong, does anyone know what that song is?

Could it be St. James Infirmary perhaps?

I don’t really remember the scene, but IMDb lists two songs played by the Spirit of New Orleans Brass Band. One is “St. James Infirmary,” the other is “We Shall Walk through the Streets of the City.”

You know, I think it is… I found a youtube clip of a jazz band playing it, and that sounds like what I remember. Wish I had known the name of it back then when I was making a CD to play at the party.

And I just realized that link isn’t right, this is what I was trying to link to, so I could compare the two to see how totally off I was. I guess they’re similar, but no.
