Actrually, the Tee Set song has a misspelled word in the title: “Ami”; in French, of course, to agree with the adjective ma (“my”) and belle (“beautiful”) the word for “friend” would be spelled “Amie” rather than just “Ami.” (As in “Bon Ami,” which hasn’t scratched yet.)
Nitpick: Stevie Wonder’s song’s title would properly be “Ma Chérie Amour” (“My dear loved one”), with the accent.
