In the song “First There is a Mountain” by Donovan, there is a line:
“Oh, the snow will be a blinding sight to see”
My brothers and I as little kids always thought the song said “tushy” instead of “to see” and cracked up every time we heard it. I recently made a tape for my kids of songs I listened to growing up, and put that song on it, and I still giggle when I hear “tushy”.
Mine was, “Ba, ba, ba, ba-ba-baran.” At the time (age 5 or so) I didn’t really know what it was and I still don’t know why I got the giggles whenever I thought of it.
I was 8 when this came out. I thought the line “Take your passion/And make it happen” was “Take your pants down/and make it happen” – which isn’t that unreasonable, considering the movie’s subject. Anyway, I thought it was naughty and giggled when I heard it.
