Song Title Help - "Rub it in"

I remember a portion of a song from my youth and would like to know the title and the artist. Everyone I ask tells me that I’m crazy, but I have to believe that this is a real song - I have no ability to write music.

The lyrics go:

Lie beside me on the sand
Put some lotion in your hand
Turn the radio on
Find a slow moving song
and rub it in, rub it in.

Thanks to all who respond.

Sure it’s not Peaches by the Stranglers? Lyrics similar but don’t match exactly.

??? Could be. A quick scan of Google didn’t reveal lyrics so I can’t tell.

Single, released 1977:

There was a song called “Rub It In” by Billy “Crash” Craddock back in 1974 that could be it.

Definitely the Craddock song:

First verse:

Lie beside me on the sand
Put some lotion in your hand
C’mon and make me feel nice
And kiss me once or twice
Say you love me again

Then rub it, rub it in
Rub it in, rub it inb
I feel the tingle begin,
You’re getting’ under my skin
Rub it in, rub it in

second verse:

Turn your radio on
And find a slow-groovin’ song
Baby whisper in my ear
Say the things I want to hear
Make me know your love is strong

Thanks Blue Sky, MisterThyristor. That is definitely it. My ageing memory seems to have combined two of the verses, but that is the song.

Thanks to you Crusoe!
