I remember a one panel comic strip (sorry, don’t remember when or where or even the name) that had a guy in an elevator listening to “corrected” versions of rock songs, example – “I can not receive any satisfaction,” or, “I can not buy myself any love.”

Here is one I never get tired of. Happy Birthday Johnny (October 9th, 1940).
^Geez Ringo! Get some sleep. And wash your hair.
I don’t know about greatest, but it is up there. I have a bunch that are up there.
I listened to it in 1996 and never grow tired of it and can’t think of a contender. It was the peak of their tribal sound.
I should also add that I think Roots is the best metal album of all time. Just peak metal and it has not aged a day. Sounds like it could be released right now and it would be hailed a masterpiece.

Summertime
Songs that I never get tired of, in the Smooth Jazz genre, are;
Dreams by the Rippingtons
Chips n’ Salsa by Steve Oliver
I’m in my late 50’s, and this is one I’ve been hearing for literally my entire life: “Light my Fire” by The Doors. I just really love Manzarek’s keyboard and Krieger’s guitar. I get lost in them every time I hear it. I was listening to this a few months back, and repeated it a few times. Decided I just can’t get tired of it.
Also, Dreams, by the Allman Brothers. Duane’s guitar is just ethereal.
This is also one of my favorite songs. There is an amazing live performance of this song from their appearance on SNL, but it got pulled from YouTube.
Love Shack, the B-52s
Uptown Funk - Bruno Mars
Jump Around - House of Pain
Intergalactic - Beastie Boys
