I happen to really enjoy the song Brand New Day from the Dr. Horrible Sing Along Blog.
I love a lot of different features/aspects of the song just in its vocal styling (the softer vocals with menacing undertones mixed with happy imagery), the beat behind the song isn’t that bad either (it’s one of the faster songs from the Musical- which is another thing i love, that rapid fire intro leading into the chorus and all. The stretching out of certain words (“into the L-i-i-i-ight…”).
In generally I really just like this song.
So what other songs by other artists would be similar to this song?

Well, they don’t have that particular song, but for standard music (as opposed to, I guess, sing-along-blog music), www.pandora.com lets you put in a song or artist and it finds similar music for you to listen to. It’s great, I pretty much don’t listen to anything else anymore.
