I forsee two to three more CDs in the Megamix of Pain.
Mr. Roboto – by Styx; it came up on my ipod and I’ve been singing it for two days
Ballroom Blitz – I don’t know who it’s by, but get the 70’s version, not the Wayne’s World version–it’s great
“Feelings” (whoa, whoa, whoa, feelings) by Moris Albert
“MMBop” by Hanson
“Don’t Cha” by the Pussycat Dolls (bonus points for the re-recorded version that was used as the theme for the 2006 Golden Globes)
“I’m Too Sexy,” Right Said Fred
“Cotton Eyed Joe,” Rednex
“Informer” by Snow
Sweet Home Alabama
the Yuma song
quite of few Japanese pop songs actually.
And even though it gets stuck in my head, I like the Ninja song and the leopard song and of course I like the moon!
I don’t even know any other words to this song (or its name or who sings it), but I often find it running through my head…
“Blinded by the light. Wrapped up like a douche, another rotor in the night”
The fact that it makes no sense and that it really sounds like “douche” (not “deuce” or any of the other suggested lyrics) bugs me enough that I dwell on it and it digs deeper and deeper into my brain. Sounds perfect for your cause.
“Blinded By The Light” originally recorded (and written) by Bruce Springsteen, with a cover by Manfred Mann’s Earth Band about a decade later. The Boss’s is mostly guitar and piano (with his unmistakable voice), while the later has a prog-rock treatment.
LOUNE, I still think you’re missing out by not including The Tokens. My friend Gary and I infected an entire engineroom of guys with that in only five minutes, and it took many hours for it to go away.
Move 'em on, head 'em up,
Head 'em up, move 'em out,
Move 'em on, head 'em out Rawhide!
Set 'em out, ride 'em in
Ride 'em in, let ‘em out,
Cut ‘em out, ride ‘em in Rawhide.
Such an annoying song to have rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ in your head all day.
Would you happen to have this offending song on mp3? I got fed up with Kazaa and just killed it (and had to sift through the offending spyware, to boot).
I’ll add it on your recommendation. The fourth CD is just a hodgepodge, with no rhyme or reason to it.
