What songs would you not otherwise listen too, if it weren’t for the chorus? (Or, if the song doesn’t technically have a chorus, then one part that gets repeted over and over again inbetween the verses, or what could be considered verses)
For me, two that come to mind are
Special by Wilshire

all I Wanna Do, Sheryl Crow. Nice singing, love the Santa Monica Blvd. chorus, but the bulk of the song is rather dull and uninteresting, IMO.

Actually, I don’t know how this would fit in exactly, but my wife likes the song Clint Eastwood by the Gorillaz , except for the rap parts.
*Once in a Lifetime * by Talking Heads.
Front Line Assembly ’s “Civilization” comes to mind.
I guess “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” would be on everyone’s list. How many people know that song even has verses?

“White Christmas” is another one that is mostly known by the chorus alone.
Rockwell: “Somebody’s Watchin Me”

Falco : *Rock Me Amadeus *
Chorus - Amadeus Amadeus Amadeus Oh Oh Amadeus
Trio : Da Da Da
Chorus - Da Da Da du liebst mich nicht du liebst mich nicht
I guess the fact that the songs are in German makes it easy to gloss over the verses. This is what I hear:
blah blah blah
[Catchy Chorus]
blah blah blah
[Catchy Chorus]

Chorus of Dope Show by Marilyn Manson is listenable, but the rest is mediocre.
On the other hand, Nookie is horrible except for teh first verse. Maybe if you spliced the two together you’d have a song I’d like
