William Shatner’s version of “Mr. Tambourine Man” will make you laugh until you cry.
If you’re down in the dumps, run right out and buy a copy of Golden Throats.
There’s also a GT Beatles’ tribute disc that features Telly Savalas and “Little” Joe Pesci. :::shudder:::

I am always cheered by REM’s “Stand.” I know that lots of REM fans hate this simple little ditty, but it brings a smile to my face every time I hear it.

At My Most Beautiful, by REM. Other than being a really nice, mellow song, it reminds me of a certain very happy period of my life. Also, Frank Sinatra’s rendition of More always makes me cheery for the rest of the day.
