Sony Vaio stole my music

My bad, I accepted some seemingly boring sony update and now I have lost all my mutherfugging music as every file now has a vcm_mmd extension and has lost many kilobytes of data.

Now some may think that the loss of early chicago house music or ten years of pete tong essential collection is not a bad thing but honestly am stunned, shocked and seriously pissed.

I can’t play files with this extension, but I seriously don’t. can’t, hate to believe I have lost my stuff.

Any Sony Vaio owners know what is happening here?

May be relevant. It seems they shouldn’t be replacing your .mp3 files.

Hmmm… I checked that site. I followed the instructions to disable this vaio add on. But the majority of my stuff ( though strangely not all) still is now unplayable? wtf?
