Isn’t it a dream though? It might be somewhat logical, but it doesn’t have to make total sense. Many dreams are like that. I think some liberties can be granted in this environment.
Not only that, but can’t we accept that they just didn’t think of it?
I suppose.
I guess my point is though that it makes no difference for me. The symbolism, and narrative, and potential future implications in the dream sequence easily outweighs that detail for me at least. Every show has inconsistencies I guess.
If it wasn’t clear, I agree with you. I was just providing an alternate reason it doesn’t bother me.
Oh…I may be reading it right now. I wasn’t sure if by “they” you meant the show writers, or the characters in the show didn’t think of it.
Late night for me… :smack:
Just read the preview for this Sunday’s show. It notes that Tony is dealing with a lawsuit so I presume it’s him trying to avoid the monks we saw in this weeks episode.
I thought the lights were the Costa Mesa wildfires that he saw reports of on the news. He was in Costa Mesa, right? He did ask the bartender how living in CM was, to which he replied “this place is dead.”
I’ve lived in an area where you could occasionally see wildfires in the distance, and it sure looked similar to what they showed in Tony’s dream.
I thought that was the heart monitor. Blip. Blip. Blip.
I thought it was the helicopter lights. When it was over Tony, and the lights were bright, he woke and entered concsiousness. At the end of the show it was nowhere near meaning this could be a long haul.
I apologize for reading only the first page so maybe some of this has been said before …
On first viewing, I thought the voice was Carmen being less whiney (she turned out different too). I thought she was great in this episode, too!
AJ is a doofus, although I did like his calm conversation with Tony re cars. Just cuz he says he’s going to whack Junior doesn’t mean he’ll end up in the family. I tend to doubt it.
Chris’ visit with the FBI Agents was great… I don’t see him turning but it would be interesting if he did cooperate re some terrorist activity.
So who’s Paulie going to whack in Ep. #3… Vito, Junior…?
I’m pretty sure that light he saw from the window was a rotating airport beacon.
