This is not a State of the Union. Constitution considers this first of four (or ten, whatever Trump can live for). By this point he should have said, “The state of the Union is strong!” and by tradition both sides should do a standing O. Not sure if they have the text, yet there has to be a clear place in there for "exit en masse for every last democrat and the SCOTUS will be beaming even wider and the right will be throwing confetti and spraying silly string at them.

I saw on Twitter that Democrats are walking out but it’s not being shown on camera. It seems like they’re showing a lot less of the audience than usual.
He’s passed the point where the Dems should have all got up and left. If it were a SOTU I could understand having some respect for the office. He keeps on saying how great he is, how great he will be, and how shitty the democrats are. They can’t impeach him, he’s not going anywhere ever, yet the democrats should be on the Capitol steps in 10 minutes.

In the latest polls I’m aware of, the majority of Americans (54%) still think the country is headed in the wrong direction. That’s a significant improvement since Dec-24, but just 10 points with buyers regret yet to take effect.
