That was Joe Wilson.
He wasn’t censured but he did later apologize after John McCain urged him to.

Was there a point when he started talking about law and order, and the Democrats responded by chanting “January 6th! January 6th!..”.
Did that happen? If it did happen, about how many minutes into the speech was it?
I watched most of the speech, but if that happened I missed it, and I can’t find any corroborating evidence online.
Hell, it’s not even the most outrageous cane-related act in Congressional history.
The PMQ’s were always entertaining when I’d see them on C-SPAN when Congress had nothing else to do (like now). The Speaker (of either Congress or Parliament) should immediately dispel (as Al Green was) whomever made any such outbursts - esp. during a (real or imaginary as last tueday was) SOTU. Dunno if/what the UK has.
Obama should have left the podium and challenged this asshole. Call me a liar to my face and I will not accept it. He apologized on a phone call? Did he ever do so in the Capitol?
Rep Al Green came to challenge Trump and I presume he is a pimp and needs that particular cane. His fellow democrats came with stupid-ass fucking signs instead of making outbursts that will be gavelled in the House or Senate or the last 240+ years. Solidarity should have meant they all get escorted out by the Sergeant-at-arms.
Take me to the Potomac River right by the Thomas Jefferson Memorial and drop me in the water.
The Dem leadership and silent-sign holders can write whatever they want in their “memoirs”. Not one of them was “great” that night
