South Park 16 November: WOW!

A jillion Penn State molestation jokes…

It didn’t really make me laugh too much, unlike the last few offerings. But I did like the idea Kenny comforts his sister, and that there are actually schools out there that would punish Cartman.

Especially Kenny comforting his sister in his Mysterion guise. Literally acting as an unknown “guardian angel.” And of course, it fit into the whole agnostic angle, too.

Didn’t realy make me laugh too much until the very end. And boy did I laugh at the end!

The Penn State jokes were so incredibly lame that they went all the way back around again and became hilarious.

What was that one? “Two Penn State coaches walk into a butt.” Oh man did I lose it at that one.

PBR these days is more of a hipster beer than a white trash beer.

Other than that, though, I thought this episode was wicked hilarious.

And “Joe Paterno doesn’t walk into a police station …”

That was the point of the “PBR is a white trash brew” jokes. The embracing of PBR as the hipster beer of choice has gone on so long and is so prevelant that it’s been forgotten that it was originally done ironically in response to the pretension of microbrew drinkers. People now oten just think that PBR is a trendy beer thereby triggering the need to invoke the “Emperor’s New Clothes” rule to remind everybody of how low-class PBR really is.

As for me, PBR actually is an average cheap beer. However, I do think it has more flavor than Bud.
