I’m not up on my celebrity gossip, is Jennifer Lopez known as being a bitch as portrayed (perhaps with some hyperbole for effect) by South Park?
A lot of the hostility toward her probably comes from this document. It’s a list of her backstage “requirements” for appearing in a music video for charity. She got quite a bit of bad publicity for it.

Was Cartman faking or not? In the end, if I heard correctly, he said, “Ha, ha. I got you…sort of.” I’m hard pressed to believe Cartman would go as far as giving Ben a handjob just to make Kyle look dumb but he did feed Scott Tenorman his own parents cooked in chili (one of my fave eps, by the way).

As to the OP, yes, she has a reputation for being a bit of a primadonna. I think she’s an especially easy target because most of her “talent” (singing abilites, acting rep) seems manufactured.

This was just a bizarre episode. Not super funny, but weird and entertaining.

She’s a diva, just like Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, et all.
And spare me the crap about Lopez can’t hold a candle to any of them talent-wise. Diana Ross is not a very good singer, and look how far she’s gone.
Oh, one more thing, EVERY musician/actor/actresses talent is manufactured, it just depends on the degree.

Sorry, this one was too much a stretch - a 5-second gag stretched to 30 minutes.
Cartman was really losing it, though - he had arguments with “Miss Lopez” when he was alone. The last line was simple reassurance for us.
