Christ, no matter what they do people think it’s the best episode evah. I thought it was complete crap. Predictable, shallow, and unfunny.

Actually, I thought last week’s episode was pretty bad, and the steriods one as well.

But I rather liked this one. Disturbing, yes, but funny. Not one of the best, but in there.

BTW, did anyone notice how the first time the newscaster said the people were from 1000 years in the future, then the 2nd time he said 2000 years. I wonder if that was intentional…

Their disgust for (and superiority to) anyone with a political opinon has gotten SO tiresome.

I thought it was making fun of people on both sides of the issue.

I’ve been waiting years for them to make fun of Bill O’Reilly, and was SO horribly disappointed that they showed him in this episode but didn’t make fun of him (such an easy target too!). Didn’t even look or sound like airhead O’Reilly. What a letdown. I cannot imagine Matt and Trey are fans of O’Reilly, who constantly berated south park, especially when the SP movie came out a few years ago. Oreilly called it trash, garbage, etc.

At the very least they could have made fun of Oreilly’s M.O., that is, how he supports all his arguments (if you can call it “support”) by invoking “saving the children.”

Ugh, did I mention how much I hate Bill O’Reilly?

Anyway, that was a letdown, and the episode as a while, while it had a somewhat clever premise, went nowhere and was not all that funny. Worst episode of season 8 so far (the others having all been fairly good IMHO).

I watch the factor, occasionally agreeing with him though often disagreeing with him. I don’t hate the guy, I like the way he goes after some guys, but other times he just badgers people to death.

I fully expected them to make fun of him, and I was disappointed as well. Particulary since the Daily show already did a great parody of “THe O’reilly factor” with the “Cobert Report”.

True. “Good times with Weapons” was the best of the season so far.
