South Park movie on Comedy Central, UNCENSORED

Late New Year’s Eve, I happened to catch a showing of South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut on Comedy Central.

After watching it for five minutes or so, I suddenly realized that they weren’t bleeping out the naughty words. “Shut your fucking face, uncle fucker” was coming through loud and clear and with all the vowels and consonants intact.

Has Comedy Central done this before?

Yes. A couple of times, but it’s usually late, late at night (or early in the morning).

They showed it “Uncut” a few weeks ago, at 9:00 EST, I think it was.

They do it quite often. Don’t be such a shit-faced cock-master, you donkey-raping ass spelunker.

Sorry bout that.

USC Trojans: Hail the National Champions!

They did it around Thanksgiving.

“We have got to see this movie!”

There was a time (around 1985-86) that channel 5 in Los Angeles was showing completely uncensored movies about once a month. I remember One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Patton specifically. And that was in prime time.

True, I also remember some L.A. TV station showing The Deer Hunter uncensored a couple of decades ago. Before the movie began, they had a bigwig-looking guy come out and tell everybody just how gosh-darned important this movie was, which was why they weren’t censoring it.
