Ok… For those of you who don’t want to go through all of the site…
It’s a place where you type up a message (4 pages max), it’s burned on a DVD (along with MANY others) and launched into space for 50,000 years. Then it returns to earth.
Will they even have DVD players in 50,000 years? The micro-etching being done by The Rosetta Project seems much more likely to survive and be readable in the distant future.
