Hey, I spend most of my time in MPSIMS. I just meant that the bullshit-and-gibberish filters are set lower down here than in GD. Some people liked their posts- Imthecowgodmoo, at least, liked one of SJ’s bizarre 900 words-or-less essays. While I realize many people (including me) found their MPSIMS garbage irritating, it was not outside the rules of the forum most times. Their work in GD was always inappropriate.

I do understand that the tolerance level is much, much lower in GD, though, as well it should be. Tough to argue with that nonsense going on.
Let me attempt to reinterpret what you said. Perhaps because this is MPSIMS, the damage they inflict won’t be felt as quickly, and since there’s such a high post turnover here, whatever they say is bound to end up 12 pages back in a manner of minutes? So we’ll see it, say “what a @#$%$$@#$,” and move on a little faster? Is that better interpretation?

I think Sam Vimes was trying to make a point about free speech, associating Albee and Beckett with the aforementioned trolls. I hold this opinion especially because of the following:
Sam, you won’t find a bunch more in favor of Amendment Uno than the serious regs on this board. But the original idea was to ignore, not censure. The right to post ca-ca is an explicit right of the First. The right to ignore it is an implicit right of same.
