Spam Anniversary

But I didn’t eat the spammon mousse!

Gone!

It’s required eating here in Hawaii. 20 different varieties (wild guess). Costco/Sams have pallets of the different varieties (not just a few cans). A buck or two at most convenience stores. Wife makes killer version, spam browned in teriyaki sauce, scrambled egg slices to match the spam, layered with the rice in the musabi press, along with nori (seaweed sheets) to help the packaging and griping. I have to eat it fresh 'cause the grandchildren don’t allow any leftovers.

My kids are huge fans of simple spam kimbap. Roasted seaweed, with some rice spread on it, wrapped around a narrow finger of spam. Served cold.
