I’d really like to make this. The instructions are in Spanish (I’m fairly sure), and due to the amount of abbreviations in crochet patterns, online translators aren’t much help. If there’s a stranger on the interwebs that can help me out, it’s got to be on the Dope!
I don’t think it’s Spanish – my guess would be Portuguese.
Unfortunately, the only help I can also provide is that it’s not Spanish. I’m definitely a crochet beginner and can barely follow patterns in English though.

I can tell you pb is abreviation for pontos baixos, “low points”, but I don’t know what are those called in English. Pontos altos, “high points”. The corr appears to refer to what are called cadenetas in Spanish, “little chains”… but the problem is, as little ganchillo as I speak in Spanish, I speak even less in English, and for this you need someone who is bilingual in international crochet. Heck, I imagine that in English they’re not even called points.

it looks like “corr” is “chain”, “pontos baixos” or “pb” are single crochet, “pontos altos” or “pt alto” is double crochet, and “pbx” is a slip stitch.
It seems like a fairly straightforward pattern.
Thanks a ton for that link! I should be able to parse it out from that. I know it’s an easy enough pattern, but I really didn’t want to spend a few days making trial and error squares to figure it out
