Anybody got it? Is it worth the bucks to somebody who’s already got the original version on DVD?
My roommate got it. The extra scenes are mostly hilarious, and there are a few decent little featurettes. He didn’t have the original DVD, so he sprang for the “box set” that came with the mousepad, coffee mug, and red stapler, among other things. If you really like the movie, why not sell your copy on eBay or trade it in for some quick cash at a Hollywood Video or video game store, and then use that little bit of extra money to spring for the new version?
I’m asking for the Special Edition for my birthday or Christmas (they’re a month a part, so it’s gift season!). I have the old no-frills DVD, but I’ll do like **BBVL ** says and trade it in somewhere. I always wanted a souped-up version with extra features, so I’m pleased that one finally came out.
Okay, that goes on my list. My girlfriend hates that movie, but she likes to make me happy. Oh, yes. I am the man.
Wow, I didn’t think anyone hated that movie…my condolences.
Not only do you need the new version, I think you need a new girlfriend.
Just, please, tell me she doesn’t make you watch Terms of Endearment or Pretty Woman.
